Cheapside, a small village within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, is one of the oldest parts of Sunninghill. It first emerged as a settlement in the Windsor Forest and is still today a separate hamlet. This book was produced for the Cheapside Millenium History Exhibition and its printing was funded by the Durning Trust of Ascot. The author, who lives in Cheapside, has taught lectured and had her work published in England, Holland and Belgium.
